Like i said, i can post the method i used when i get back later, unless you’re not willing to reinstall, or have solved the problem.

The problem with the bcm43xx driver is that the documentation and help are close broadcom airforce bcm43xx non-existant, so statements like “the firmware isn’t supported by certain distros” can be very damaging. I think the title for this thread is extremely misleading. Set up Network Manger to automatically connect to broadcom airforce bcm43xx wireless and wired connections with the following commands, entering your root password as prompted after each command: I installed ndiswrapper with no problems that I can tell.
